They talk about Game Connection
We cannot do without the Let’s Meet app anymore, after trying it last year, that’s the truth.
On behalf of myself and the team, thank you for all your help in getting us to Game Connection America this year! We had a good deal of fun, and it went very well for us. We had 24 meetings, 10 were publishers that are now interested in pursuing our game.
It is the best system to arrange meetings I have come across in the industry.
It’s very good for finding the right kind of developers. I go to all the other events every year but Game Connection is the best one.
The biggest difference is that people come to Game Connection to do business unlike many other events where people just come to be seen. Here I come and I do business and it’s amazing for me.
Without question I’ll come away from this conference and over the 6-8 months there will be business deals that come from the meetings I’ve had here.
The experience was invaluable. Seeing the industry from the inside like that and pitching your game to experienced publishers in person, is something every game developer should try.
The plan with my Game Connection trip was to pitch my multiplayer game called ASTROSMASH. It’s still very early in its production so I was unsure of how many people even would be interesting in hearing what I had to say, however I was quite overwhelmed.
The people I met with had some interest in my game, and I’ve got a lot of good contacts, both for this game, but also for new projects. It was all in all a great trip, with some good people.
I honestly don’t attend a lot of events. And most of them are based in France.
Most important one for me is Game Connection Europe, during Paris Games Week. It’s always a nice opportunity to meet others studios and publishers from all around the world and negotiate interesting deals.
As Zero Games is mostly a work-for-hire studio, Game Connection Europe is vital to find new partners to work with.
If every event had such a useful app it would be much easier to set up meetings!
It is a great industry gathering, putting all the players under one roof. I would definitely recommend it as a “must go” event.
It was PushStart’s first international mission and the experience exceeded our expectations. We had the opportunity to expose for the first time our IPs that involve Games and Animation for children and we found great players interested in developing the project with us in GCA and GDC. In External Dev, we strengthen our partnership with a local company and open up opportunities with others that have an affinity with our studio proposal.
I think the GCA is best for who looks for publishers.
Of course the fact that a small company like us has a chance to properly meet face to face with bigger names in the industry is pretty damn great. As a first timer I found this event very useful, maybe almost vital in our efforts to contact possible partners and publishers.
Game Connection is great for meeting new clients and getting reacquainted with people you have previously met.
It’s the best B2B event for the Gaming Industry.
The amount of quality meetings is always very rewarding.

Jacek: The event is one of the biggest and most professionally organized b2b events in our industry. That alone is enough.
I’ll definitely recommend Game Connection for new studios if they need funding (with a demo or a vertical slice) or they need to make contact really fast with publishers of a specific size.
We got a lot of meetings which we’ve never expected. It is better than G-Star in Busan.
GCA is for us the best industry event of the year, period.
If somebody has clear needs for business connections, Game Connection will definitely let him/her create them.
The venue was very nice. Booths were very well set up. Event was generally very well organised. The meeting app is a great idea and has good features for matchmaking and scheduling.
Variety of companies from ALL over the world. B2B focused so everyone knows the purpose and match making is more efficient and effective. Location is great too. 2nd year at the event and found it to have been really valuable to our business in terms of the quality of potential partners I get to meet.
