Description: Sproing has launched many games based on 3rd party IPs in its 16 year history. In recent times we successfully worked on the mobile games “Asterix & Friends”, as well as “Nonstop Chuck Norris”. At the time this talk will be happening we will also just be in the middle of the launch process of our new game “KISS Rock City”, and another large IP based game will just be entering soft launch. I will share our key learnings and takeaways from these licensed IP projects. This includes what positive and negative effect licensed IPs have on visibility, downloads and soft & hard launch behaviour & KPIs. I will also look into other compromises that can be attached to using third party IPs, and finally what criteria define an IP well suited for mobile game.
