The 4th Game Connection America @GDC, which was heldon March 5-9 in San Francisco, was the first time ever that service providers were able to market their wares at the same successful business event as developers and publishers to increase their sales.
This year the event brought in 102 exhibitors selling titles or technology, and over 500 attendees looking to buy. 90% of the top twenty publishers were represented, and just over 3100 meetings took place in two days. The event was truly international with representatives from 37 countries in attendance, up from 25 last year. Meanwhile, Game Connection Services saw 43 exhibitors meet with over 180 potential buyers.
The immense success of Game Connection at GDC 2007 further strengthens the global reach of Connection Events. The next event scheduled will be in Tokyo in September.
The exact date is still being determined but it is likely to coincide with the Tokyo Game
Show.
Game Connection continues after that in Europe on December 4-6, 2007 in Lyon,
France, an event equal in size to the one at GDC.

Game Connection Services: a real success!
With more than 50 companies offering services and the possibility for all game buyers to buy services too, 2006 was the year of the change for the Game Connection. In a gaming industry more complex than ever, the outsourcing strategy is an important part of the development of the companies who could find the right partners at the Game Connection Services.

The right place for network
