European Games Booster/Finance panel

Game Connection Paris - 29th October 2015

The 2015 edition of Game Connection Europe is hosting a dedicated session for equity investment in the European games industry.

The session is financed as part of European Game Boost – a Creative Europe, Media subprogramme.

Investing in European Games Companies

The session covers the key issues related to financing in the games sector, especially adressing the risk factors and growth opportunities offered by equity investment in European games productions and games companies.

The session gives the floor to European games success stories and offers insights into the venture capital industry in order to reinforce financial understanding and help European games developers to secure funds.

Finance experts and invited investors will share their experiences and insights with the audience.

This session will be followed by investment pitches from 15 selected European companies currently looking at raising equity investment. The companies have 5 minutes to convince a panel of investors with track records in the sector (business angels, venture capital funds) to invest in their company.
